 Schleifenbauer PDUs are fitted with an extremely accurate metering chip. They are consequently eminently suitable for the precise measurement of power consumption. Within the EU, standards have been developed that determine the accuracy of an electricity meter. This is established in the standard:
Within this standard there are 3 classes (A, B and C), where C is the class with the highest accuracy. The meters of Schleifenbauer conform with this C-class, which means that the meters are guaranteed to deviate less than 1%. All Schleifenbauer meters are calibrated by computer to obviate errors and deviations. Each calibration is documented and can be retrieved in our computerised documentation system.
